Meet Chris Michael
Chris is the driving force behind this process. He’s been writing and singing songs for as long as he can remember. Originally from the Piedmont of North Carolina, he’s happy to have made Athens, Ohio home after many years of life in Asheville & Brooklyn. He also plays bass in various projects.
Meet Andy Ray
(an Andrew)
Andy sought out music making with Chris after hearing him perform at a pandemic music gathering in the street. He is an incredible percussionists with many talents, including but not limited to an electronic washboard. He can be found recording all sorts of things, including every CM&tAs show so we have a pretty incredible library of our evolution.
Meet Drew Krag (another Andrew)
Drew joined Andy and Chris at rehearsals on the deck (pandemic times you know) soon after moving to Athens from San Francisco Bay area. His guitar made its way beautifully into Chris’s songs. You can also find him adding sweet guitar overtones with Emily Singer & the Heartbeats. He’s also a sound engineer and educator in the area.
Meet Natalie Wittmann
(also an Andrew, it’s more of a vibe than a name)
Natalie has been practicing her harmonies with Chris for almost 20 years. She joined the band soon after it’s formation and more recently layered in the rich tones of the bass with her keytar. You can also find Natalie singing with the Athens favorite, Any Colour.
